ABOUT CHEYENNE MARQUES AMFT

Hello!
I’m Cheyenne, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a lifelong passion for supporting mental health and fostering meaningful connections. My journey began in high school as a Peer Counselor and Mediator, igniting my dedication to helping others. I pursued this passion academically, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Communication and Sociology from UC Davis, followed by a Master of Arts in Couple and Family Therapy at Alliant International University. Over the years, my commitment to promoting healthy relationships has deepened, as I firmly believe they play a pivotal role in our overall well-being.

I work with individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges. Whether you’re navigating relationship dynamics, processing trauma, or managing life’s stressors, I offer a compassionate and collaborative approach to help you reach your goals. I specialize in relational work. Whether you're coming with your partner or on your own, we can work towards fulfilling and nurturing relationships. Drawing from personal connections, I have an understanding of the unique challenges and dynamics in the lives of first responders, veterans, and their loved ones. I have completed training in the Fundamentals of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) through ICEEFT and am currently completeing EMDR training.

When I am not in the therapy room I engage in self-care in many different ways. I love spending time outdoors, diving into a good book or a new series, and expressing my creativity through crafts and crochet. Strength training and cooking are also important parts of my routine, along with quality time with my loved ones—including my beloved pets.
